§ 311-1.01. Purpose.

These rules establish procedures for applications to the Zoning Board of Appeals (the "Board") for comprehensive permits granted pursuant to MGL c. 40B, §§ 20 through 23 (the "Act") and the regulations promulgated thereunder. They are required by MGL c. 40B, § 21, and by 760 CMR 56.00 et seq. The purpose of the Act, the regulations and these rules is to facilitate the development of affordable housing in Massachusetts.
